About

Mannix Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. was formed in August 1970 by Robert (Bob) Parry, as sole proprietor. The name Mannix came from Bob’s favorite TV detective show in the early 70′s called “Mannix”, starring Mike Connors.

At the time, Mannix Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. started off with a contract with Imperial ESSO to service and repair oil furnaces on the North Shore, from Deep Cove to Brunswick Beach.

In the mid 70′s, Mannix Heating acquired contracts with Chevron Canada – Furnace Oil Sales Ltd., Shell Canada and Gulf Oil – Morrow Fuel, now known as PetroCan. In later years, natural gas came into the picture and Mannix Heating got into installing and servicing gas furnaces.

Over the years, oil customers began to dwindle and gas customers increased due to the government incentives that were in place. In the year 2002, Mannix Heating gave up any oil servicing, except for a few dedicated customers of 35 years.

Since we have been in operation, Mannix Heating has serviced and repair all makes of furnaces, water heaters, pool heaters and air conditioning.
